The Australasian Associations of Professional Organisers (AAPO) was incorporated in November 2005 as a non profit organisation.
Our committee comprises of members from two countries and three different time zones, but we share one thing in common: we're passionate about organising, growing our industry and professional development.
Wendy Davie is one of New Zealand’s original Professional Organisers; her business Totally Organised Limited was formed in 2004. Utilising her skills as a Speaker, Photographer, Writer, Registered Nurse and Mother of 3, Wendy has built her business into a successful consultancy.
Not a natural born Organiser, Wendy approaches Organising from a realist perspective. Her clients enjoy her comfortable approach to tackling all their organising issues. Whether it be a speaking engagement or a one-on-one session to get decluttered Wendy’s style is relaxed and approachable.
Wendy is the Christchurch Consultant for Relocations International, handling corporate and lifestyle relocations to the Canterbury region. She is the President and Founding Member of the Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO). Also a member of the Christchurch Chapter of the National Speakers Association (NSANZ).
Wendy's aim is to increase awareness of Professional Organising in the wider community and provide education and support to PO's in Australasia.
Angela Esnouf's business Creating Order from Chaos was established in 2004, but her friends say she’s been organising all her life. Combining her skills and experience in administration, childrens services, time management and organisation, Angela enjoys helping people become more organised, find more time and be more productive.
Angela is keen to continue developing a strong AAPO, promoting our industry throughout Australasia and supporting members in their businesses. “It’s an exciting time to be a Professional Organiser. I’m thrilled and honoured to be part of this rapidly growing industry.”
Wendy Hanes has been organising all her life, and in February 2006 decided to turn her passion for order into a new career. The most satisfying part of her work is helping people determine what is important to them, and creating an environment that supports that.
Wendy has a background in marketing and event management. She has a young family and particularly enjoys working with other busy families to make their daily life more manageable.
Wendy is dedicated to building public awareness of the organising industry and the benefits of hiring a Professional Organiser. As Victorian Chapter Leader, she believes that it is vital that members support one another in their individual businesses and work together to grow the industry.

Rebecca Mezzino has been running Clear Space Organising since 2005, and is based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her favourite part about being an Organiser is meeting people – every day there is someone new to get to know and to help.
Rebecca's business degree in Management Information Systems and over 10 years of experience in business analysis and project management in corporate environments complement the skills and experience she has gained with her consulting work.
She hopes to be of great value to AAPO and is excited to be part of this industry at such an important time of growth.
Sarah used to live in chaos. If you managed to get through the front door, it was unlikely you’d make it much further. Life with her husband, 3 kids, the dog, cat and others was a study in chronic disorganisation. Until she decided enough was enough. Sarah applied the same systematic approach to her home as her working life as a Financial Controller & Office Manager. Now in her business, Heavenly Order, she’s on a mission to help others in similar situations. “The lack of order was wreaking havoc on us, now I have time to put my family first and I want others to experience the peace and joy we have”.
Sarah's aims are to support the committee, raise public awareness of the industry, to get thoroughly involved in the conference, and encourage members commitment to the Code of Ethics and professional development.
Angela Miller-Davis' business Less = More, says it all, and is based in Brisbane. Her melting pot of qualifications and experience range from administration and graphic design, to visual merchandising and working with special needs children (autistic spectrum and ADD/ADHD).
Angela enjoys her role as Brisbane Chapter Leader, and now brings her enthusiasm and varied skill-base to the committee. "I feel AAPO has given me so much since joining. Becoming a committee member seemed like a good opportunity to give a little back. I truly enjoy this industry, it combines my creativity with my desire to help and motivate people. Being on the committee would also enable me to do this for AAPO members."
Angela also adores being a Mum to her young son Jasper.
AAPO has Chapters in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Prospective members are invited to attend a Chapter meeting to meet members and learn more about AAPO. Contact a Chapter Leader to make arrangements.
