 National Organising Week 2015

AAPO is excited to announce the 9th annual National Organising Week (NOW) across Australasia from the 7th - 12th September 2015.

Every year AAPO runs a campaign to create awareness of our industry, and promote the benefits of being organised. This year, AAPO also aims to promote the concept that once you have de-cluttered your items, there are charities that are willing to take your pre-loved items.

If you are visiting from NSW or QLD, you may be seeking information about collection points for the very deserving charity, the Uplift Project.  Thank you for taking the time to de-clutter your delicates from your wardrobe and considering those in communities where the bra that you donate could be the only bra they ever own.

For more information on the Uplift Project and how your donations can help women in disadvantaged communities visit www.upliftbras.org.

AAPO Perth NOW Event

The Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO Perth) is holding their annual National Organising Week (NOW) event on Tuesday 1 September 2015. The aim of this event is to promote how being organised and living clutter free can be beneficial to the way we live. This year’s theme is about donating pre-loved items to charity.

Throughout the year Professional Organisers based in Perth have been collecting unwanted household items from their clients. These items will be donated to those individuals and families most in-need via E’Co Australia Pty Ltd, a company who manages the distribution of such items.

1800-GOT-JUNK? will transport tables, bookshelves, kitchen items including crockery and cutlery, lamps, vases, books, toys and much more to E’Co where they will be distributed. These items would normally be sent to landfill if it wasn’t for the savvy Professional Organisers who will band together for this event, and help our environment.

If you need the assistance of a Professional Organiser to help you declutter your excess household items, contact The Perth Forum Coordinator, Jude Newberry via email or call 0414 996 431 or visit www.aapo.org.au to find your local Professional Organiser.
